inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Police Professional and Security Division of Indonesian National Police sanctioned a police member involved in the Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP) extortion case.

Head of Public Information Section of INP Public Relations Division, Senior Superintendent Erdi Ardi Chaniago reveals that the police member mentioned, Brigadier D, is sentenced with five-year demotion. D was also detained in a special placement for 20 days, starting from December 27th, 2024 to January 15th, 2025.

“Then, he is also required to participate in spiritual, mental, and professional knowledge development for one month," said Erdi to reporters on Wednesday (1/8/2025).

On the other hand, Erdi noted that D has committed a despicable act and tainted the good image of his institution.

"Then, the obligation of the violator is to apologize verbally to the KKEP trial and in writing to the police leadership," concludes Erdi.
