Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police Chief Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri and Jakarta Military Commander Major General Deddy Suryadi led a massive joint clean-up operation across Jakarta and its satellite cities on Sunday (8/2/2026). 

Targeted at neighborhood roads, drainage systems, and public facilities, the initiative serves as a direct follow-up to President Prabowo Subianto's recent environmental directives.

"Today, all regions of DKI Jakarta, including Tangerang, Bekasi, and Depok, are simultaneously carrying out community service as a follow-up to the President's instructions," said Chief Asep Edi during the activity in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, As reported by antaranews.com.

The operation deployed 5,581 joint personnel from the military, police, and local administration. In North Jakarta alone, 1,150 personnel focused on cleaning the Cincin Reservoir area in Papanggo.
