inp.polri.go.id - Medan. The North Sumatra Regional Police and Medan Sub-regional City Police, along with the military, held a massive patrol to create a safe and orderly situation in the community.

The activity was led by the Head of Medan Sub-regional City Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Gidion Arif Setyawan.

In their patrol, they visit several areas thought to be prone to public disturbances.

Gidion, in his direction, highlights the vigilance and professionalism in patrol to prevent security disturbance potentials.

“Medan City is our home. Every step we did today is for the safety of the people,” explains Gidion.

During patrol, he explains that personnel are focused on locations often visited by the young people to gather late at night.

He further stated that this joint patrol was not only aimed at monitoring security, but also building public awareness about the importance of maintaining public order together.

"We also educate them about the dangers of nighttime activities that can trigger crime or endanger themselves," he concluded.
