Inp.polri.go.id - Gianyar. Indonesian national team coach Shin Tae-yong has confirmed that three Indonesian players currently playing abroad—Pratama Arhan, Asnawi Mangkualam, and Marselino Ferdinan—will join the team for a training camp in Bali ahead of the 2024 AFF Cup.

"Arhan, Asnawi, and Marselino can still join," he said during the training session at Bali United’s Pantai Purnama Field on Friday (29/11/2024).

However, the South Korean coach noted uncertainty over four other overseas players: Justin Hubner, Ivar Jenner, Rafael Struick, and Ronaldo Kwateh. Their participation is hampered as the AFF Cup falls outside FIFA’s official match calendar, allowing clubs to refuse player releases.

Despite these challenges, Coach Shin remains confident, saying, "If they can't join, we have Hokky Caraka as a replacement, so it’s not a problem."

Indonesia’s training camp in Bali will run until 5 December 2024, with the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup scheduled from 5 December 2024, to 6 January 2025.
