The victory marked a comeback for the Red and White squad, which had previously suffered a narrow 2-3 defeat against the same African nation in 2024.
The winning momentum was sealed by veteran Christopher Rungkat and Justin Barki, who triumphed in the doubles match 6-0, 7-5.
Earlier, singles victories by Muhammad Rifqi Fitriadi and Justin Barki provided a 2-0 lead on the first day. Anthony Susanto finalized the clean sweep with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Kadanga Kili.
