Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps Chief, Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho, urged the public to avoid using motorcycles for the 2025 Eid homecoming to reduce traffic accidents.

"Last year, 75% of accidents during the Ketupat Operation involved motorcycles. We must ensure better safety measures," he said on Sunday (23/3/2025).

He recommended using public transport or government-sponsored free travel programs, including Polri’s Valet & Ride service, available from March 24–30 in Central Java.

Through this service, motorcyclists can drop off their bikes at Brebes, have them transported by truck, and continue their journey by bus to Semarang. The service is free and requires only an ID and vehicle registration.
