Inp.polri.go.id - Bandarlampung. Lampung Regional Police Chief Inspector General Helmy Santika confirmed  on Tuesday (18/3/2025) that 12 bullet casings were found at the scene of the fatal shooting of three police officers during a cockfighting gambling raid in Way Kanan, Lampung.

"The site has been examined by the Criminal Investigation Directorate, the Sriwijaya Military Police, and the Way Kanan Sub-regional Police," he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

Authorities are conducting forensic analysis to determine the trajectory and source of the gunfire. The investigation is being jointly handled by the Indonesian National Police and the Indonesian Military (TNI).

Meanwhile, Brigadier General Rikas Hidayatullah, the Commander of Black Garuda Military Command, confirmed that one soldier has been detained by the Military Police in connection with the incident.
