Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Approximately 1,635 joint personnel ready to secure the working visit of President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo to North Sulawesi Province.
The North Sulawesi Regional Police PR Chief, Senior Superintendent Michael Irwan Thamsil confirms that the police will deploy 1,635 personnel to secure president visit on February 22nd and 23rd, 2024.
“A total of 1,635 police personnel will support the security of President working visit in North Sulawesi, which consists personnel from North Sulawesi Regional Police, Manada Sub-regional City Police, Bitung Sub-regional Police, North Minahasa Sub-regional Police, Kotamobagu Sub-regional Police, and Bolaang Mongondow Sub-regional Police,” said Irwan on Thursday (2/22/2024).
Personnel will be positioned in various security locations, both for clearing and securing the way of president entourage and securing the destinations which the president would visit.
“He is scheduled for various agendas in several locations such as in Manado City, Bitung City, and Bolaang Mongondow Regency,” said Irwan.
Moreover, Irwan invites local community to participate in making the visit of President to their beloved province a success by maintaining public security and order.
