Inp.polri.go.id – North Sumatra. The North Sumatra Regional Police have acted against 2,252 drug syndicate rings in the province for four months since September 12th, 2023 to January 21st, 2024. From those thousands of rings, 2,820 suspects have been arrested “with 568 drug users,” says North Sumatra Regional Police Public Relations Chief, Senior Superintendent Hadi Wahyudi on Sunday (1/21/2024).
Hadi adds that the total evidence confiscated by the police are 327,44 kg of methamphetamine, 604.55 of marijuana, 65,155 of marijuana stems, 55,018 of ecstasy pills, 95 excimer pills, 49 tramadol pills, and 431 triheksifen pills.
Additionally, his party also confiscated 334 motorcycles, 42 cars, and a cash of IDR 338,678,550.
“Our hunt against these drug syndicates demonstrates our fierce commitment in realizing North Sumatra to be free from drugs,” explains Hadi.
“The order from the police chief is clear, to decimate the place where drug transactions are held and arrest all drug dealers,” concluded Hadi.
