inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The President of the Confederation of All Indonesian Trade Unions (KSPSI), Andi Gani Nena Wea, revealed that as many as 25,000 workers will fill the Indonesia Arena at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Stadium in Senayan, Jakarta, on Thursday (7/10/2025).

Tens of thousands of workers will attend the award ceremony for Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo from the International Trade Union Congress (ITUC).

The 25,000 workers represent three major confederations in the country: KSPSI, KSPI, and KSBSI, and come from 11 cities in Central Java, West Java, and Greater Jakarta.

"This building certainly can't accommodate the capacity, as it only has a capacity of 17,000. Therefore, most of the workers will be outside the venue. We've prepared LED lighting, as they've come a long way," said the KSPSI President on Thursday (July 10, 2025).

Andi also expressed his appreciation for the attendance of tens of thousands of workers, considering it will be held on a weekday.

He then revealed three indicators that the ITUC awarded General Sigit. One was because the INP Chief has opened up a wide space for workers' aspirations.

"Second, because of the establishment of the National Police Manpower Desk. This desk, which has been in place for one year, has resolved various labor issues," said Andi.

Third, INP Chief is considered to have played a significant role in helping re-employment of laid-off workers. He stated that 700 workers have already found work thanks to this program.
