inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman revealed that the government will distribute 360,000 tons of rice food aid throughout July 2025 to vulnerable families.

The distribution of this rice aid aims to maintain people's purchasing power and access to food.

"This is concrete evidence of the state's presence in maintaining people's purchasing power and reducing household burdens," he said, as reported by RRI on Saturday (7/12/2025).

This program is part of the government's strategy to maintain the Stabilization of Food Supply and Prices (SPHP). Regarding SPHP rice, Amran urged Bulog to exercise extra caution.

"Distribution must be accurate, and it must not be leaked to unauthorized parties. SPHP must not be misused," he explained.

He also called for strict supervision and firm action against food mafias.
