Inp.polri.go.id - Palu. A 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck Parigi Moutong, Central Sulawesi, on Tuesday (28/1/2025) at 10.53 pm local time, the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) confirmed.
The earthquake's epicenter was on land, 42 kilometers southeast of Parigi Moutong, at a depth of 91 kilometers, located at coordinates 0.53°N and 121.18°E. Tremors were felt at various intensities in nearby Tolitoli, Gorontalo, Palu, Sigi, North Gorontalo, and Bone Bolango, according to antaranews.com.
