Inp.polri.go.id - Banda Aceh. Demonstrating active support for rural infrastructure and public safety, personnel from Battalion C Pioneer of the Aceh Regional Police Mobile Brigade (Brimob) unit assisted in installing 109 meters of steel sling cables to build a suspension bridge in Sikundo Village, Pante Ceureumen District, West Aceh Regency.

Led by Company 1 Commander Assistant Senior Inspector Abdi Rama Surya alongside 20 officers, the initial installation creates the structural foundation for a safer river crossing. The bridge primarily serves students of SD Swasta Sikundo accessing school and local farmers traveling to agricultural fields.

"We hope this connecting bridge will provide significant benefits, especially for Sikundo elementary school students so they can travel to school safely and comfortably," said Commander of Battalion C Pelopor, Senior Inspector Usman, on Sunday (26/7/2026).

Local residents expressed appreciation for Brimob’s hands-on support, noting that the initiative resolves long-standing transportation challenges, particularly during the rainy season when river conditions make travel hazardous.
