Inp.polri.go.id - Banda Aceh. The Traffic Unit of the Aceh Tamiang Sub-regional Police distributed emergency relief on Sunday (7/12/2025) to residents impacted by severe flooding across several affected villages in Kota Kuala Simpang, Aceh Tamiang.

“We hope this eases their burden and keeps their spirits strong,” said Aceh Regional Police Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent Joko Krisdiyanto, as reported by antaranews.com.

Officers went door-to-door to ensure essential supplies reached families most affected by rising waters. Residents warmly welcomed the assistance and expressed gratitude for the police presence during the crisis. 

Chief Joko added that similar social actions would continue as part of Polri’s ongoing support for disaster-hit communities.

In parallel operations, Aceh Police trauma-healing teams provided psychosocial support to flood survivors in Langsa, visiting homes and offering counseling to both residents and affected police personnel.
