Ahead 2024 General Elections, Maluku Regional Police Chief through Salawaku Mantap Brata Operation Pre-emptive Task Force intensify their patrols to directly meet with the community in calling for security situations. One of places visited by the task force are the Gadihu Kebun Cengkih Motorcycle Taxi Post, Sirimau Regency, on Tuesday (1/16/2024). The dissemination of security message also held in Ambon Penitentiary Class IIA, and securities of BCA Bank and Custom Offices. In addition, the unit also gave brochures containing security messages to people passing by the area. “Other than directly communicating with the people, Salawaku Mantap Brata Operation Pre-emptive Task Force also tasked to give brochures containing security messages,” says Maluku Regional Police Public Relation Chief, Senior Superintendent M. Rum Ohoirat. The task force also tasked to invite the community to jointly maintain security and warns them not to spread any misinformation or hoax in social media. “Difference in opinion should be addressed wisely, because whoever you vote in the election, security situation must remain conducive and orderly,” continued Ohoirat.
