Police force deployed for the security of Indonesian President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo during his working visit to Nusantara Capital City (IKN) to inaugurate the Groundbreaking Nusantara Green Logistic Hub of POS Indonesia Inc. on Wednesday (1/17/2024). The East Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Nanang Avianto was seen to accompany the president as he stressed his commitment in maintaining the order and the safety of the president. “The East Kalimantan Regional Police commit to escort and secure every steps of IKN Development,” says the East Kalimantan Regional Police spoke person, Police Senior Superintendent Yusuf Sutejo. It was reported that Jokowi flew to IKN to lay the first stone of the Nusantara Green Logistic Hub in IKN which serves in strengthening the domestic chain supply in Indonesia. According to Jokowi, the project which located in North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan will support the IKN as the super hub of logistic service. Jokowi says that the POS Indonesia Nusantara Logistic Hub would significantly drive the domestic supply chain force, not only just for IKN but Indonesia as a whole. (ad/ay/pr/nm)
