inp.polri.go.id - Lampung. The Head of Lampung Regional Police, Inspector General Helmy Santika visited Lampung General Election Commission (KPU) Office during the Governor and Deputy Governor candidate registration process.

“Thankfully in Lampung, with 15 regencies and cities, the Regional Head Election registration process has been going smoothly,” notes Helmy.

Then, the number of personnel involved for Lampung Regional Head Election security is around 7,000 personnel from the ranks of regional police to sub-regional police.

“My visit here is to give support to the election organizers and supervisors so that we can together make sure that this election is a success,” says Helmy.

Helmy adds that the support from the public is also necessary to realize a safe, smooth, and successful election in Lampung.

“Currently we are focusing our security operations for the election candidates registration,” Helmy says, relating to the personnel deployment.

According to him, police have long prepared the security operation effort before the election process even began.

At the end of his statement, he implores to the election candidates to inform the police whether they will gather a mass when registering to the KPU office so that police can accordingly prepare for its security.
