inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The indication of a surging theft crime before the arrival of the holy month of Ramadhan this year was responded by West Java Police (Kapolda Jabar) and their staff by increasing patrols in their jurisdictions.
Sukabumi Police Chief (Kapolres Sukabumi) AKBP Dedy Darmawansyah, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., has issued instructions to his staff to carry out preventive actions to thwarted any criminal activity, especially theft at minimarkets, ATMs, gas stations, or in the market.
"We will prevent it by intensifying the patrol and counseling activities. If the preventive efforts still failed, then we must make repressive efforts by confronting the case," said Kapolres Sukabumi, Sunday (13/03/2022).
Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of Polda Jabar, Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo S.I.K., M.Sc., praised the act of Polres Sukabumi by responding quickly to the indications of an increasing crime ahead of Ramadhan.
"The anticipation step of Polres Sukabumi, by patrolling in the morning, afternoon, and night, is to create comfort and security in the community, and this deserves praise," said Kabid Humas Polda Jabar.
Improved routine activities or KRYD of Polres Sukabumi was led by the Head of Opeartions of Polres Sukabumi, Commissioner Suwardi, S.H. He and the patrol team immediately went to the minimarkets located on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman and Jalan Bhayangkara Palabuhanratu which were busy with visitors.
In addition to Polres Sukabumi, the Sector Police also carried out the same operations following the direction of Kapolres Sukabumi.
Kapolres Sukabumi hopes that before the arrival of the holy month, the community will already feel safe and comfortable and be spared from criminal attempts.
