Inp.polri.go.id - Denpasar. Immigration authorities at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali, detained three Chinese citizens on Saturday (2/5/2026) for their alleged involvement in a high-profile burglary in Bogor, West Java. 

The suspects, identified by their initials JW, RW, and HL, were intercepted while attempting to board a flight to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

"We will arrest anyone on the wanted list (DPO) as long as that information is shared with us," said Bugie Kurniawan, the Head of the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office, as cited by antaranews.com. 

He noted that the suspects were flagged by the agency's internal tracking system and displayed suspicious behavior during border checks.

The arrests stem from a 22 March 2026 robbery in a luxury residential complex in Bogor, where masked perpetrators reportedly looted a vacant home. The operation was a result of coordinated efforts between the Bogor City Sub-regional Police and Immigration offices in both Bogor and Bali. 

The suspects have since been handed over to the Bogor City Police for further legal proceedings.
