Inp.polri.go.id - Denpasar. I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali has updated its operational data, confirming that 15 international flights have been canceled due to airspace closures following the escalating conflict between the U.S., Israel, and Iran.

The cancellations, recorded as of Monday afternoon (2/3/2026), include eight departures and seven arrivals involving major carriers such as Emirates, Qatar Airways, and Etihad Airways.

"Total passenger disruptions have reached 3,197 individuals as a direct consequence of restricted flight corridors in the Middle East," said Gede Eka Sandi Asmadi, the Communication and Legal Division Head, as quoted by antaranews.com.

The affected routes primarily connect Bali to major hubs in Dubai, Doha, and Abu Dhabi. To manage the influx of stranded travelers, airport authorities have established a dedicated help desk on the second floor of the International Departure Terminal.

While ground operations remain stable, the airport is coordinating closely with AirNav Indonesia and security forces to monitor regional airspace safety. Passengers are urged to maintain contact with their respective airlines and utilize the airport’s 172 information hotline for real-time scheduling updates.
