Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian government has allocated Rp 55 trillion for the 2026 Eid al-Fitr holiday allowance benefiting civil servants, military, police, and retirees.
Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto confirmed on Tuesday (3/3/2026) that this year’s budget was a 10% increase compared to the Rp49 trillion spent last year to support national purchasing power.
"The government has prepared Rp 55 trillion for central and regional personnel, marking a significant rise from the previous period," Minister Airlangga said during a press conference in Jakarta, as reported by antaranews.com
The disbursement, which began gradually in late February, ensures that 2.4 million central officials and 4.3 million regional employees receive their bonuses by at least seven days before the holiday.
Under current regulations, the allowance includes 100% of basic salary plus family, food, and performance incentives. Authorities said that this payment is separate from the "13th-month salary" scheduled for June this year, aiming to provide timely financial stimulus for families during the festive season.
