Inp.polri.go.id - Bekasi. The Bekasi Metropolitan Sub-regional Police confirmed that voting during the 2026 Simultaneous Village Head Elections across 154 villages in Bekasi Regency proceeded securely across both digital and conventional polling stations.
Bekasi Police Chief Senior Superintendent Andi Oddang Riuh Hutomo inspected voting locations, including Digital Polling Station 51 in Setiamekar Village, South Tambun District, alongside the Bekasi Regency Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) on Sunday (20/9/2026)
He attributed the orderly voting process to precise election logistics, queue management systems, and joint security deployments.
"Security officers are stationed at their respective assignments, while administrative, logistical, and technical readiness remain in optimal condition," Chief Andi Oddang said in Cikarang, as reported by antaranews.com..
The monitoring operation forms part of Operasi Wibawa Mukti Jaya 2026, which deployed 12,261 joint security officers comprising police, military, and local administration officers. Chief Andi Oddang instructed all field officers to maintain neutrality, professionalism, and continuous vigilance until vote counting and ballot box transport conclude.
