Inp.polri.go.id - Malang. Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi moved up to second place in the PLN Mobile Proliga 2025 standings after defeating Surabaya Samator 3-0 (25-21, 29-27, 25-23) at GOR Ken Arok stadium, Malang, on Saturday (18//1/2025).
The match was closely contested from the start, with Bhayangkara opening a slight lead at 18-14. Despite trailing, Surabaya Samator, coached by Cuban Rodolfo Sanchez, fought back and equalized at 20-20.
However, Bhayangkara’s dominance allowed them to close out the first set 25-21, according to antaranews.com.
The second set was another tight battle. Surabaya Samator, led by foreign player Yaisel Punales, held a brief 9-7 lead. Samator even had a match point at 24-24 but Bhayangkara won the set 29-27.
With a 2-0 set advantage, Bhayangkara was confident in the third set.
Farhan Halim’s powerful spikes helped Bhayangkara extend their lead to 13-8. Despite a late push from Samator, Bhayangkara won the final set 25-23, completing a 3-0 victory.
This victory lifted Bhayangkara to second place with 7 points, ahead of Surabaya Samator, who has 5 points. Jakarta Lavani Livin Transmedia remains at the top with 9 points.
