Inp.polri.go.id - Blora. The Blora Sub-regional in Central Java launched a home renovation program targeting uninhabitable houses owned by underprivileged residents across three different sub-districts.
The social outreach initiative was organized in collaboration with the National Amil Zakat Agency (Baznas) of Blora Regency to celebrate the upcoming 80th Bhayangkara Day .
"This is a concrete manifestation of the police force's care for the community, while simultaneously strengthening the spirit of mutual cooperation to aid citizens in need," said Blora Police Chief Superintendent Wawan Andi Susanto on Tuesday (16/6/2026). "Helping the public secure decent housing is a vital part of building collective welfare."
The structural overhaul program aims to convert deteriorated properties into safe, healthy, and comfortable living spaces. Chief Wawan said that housing serves as a fundamental human need that directly dictates a family's quality of life, health, and future prospects.
Blora police officers worked side-by-side with local villagers to complete the construction phases, fostering stronger communal ties.
