Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The  National Narcotics Agency (BNN) destroyed more than half a ton of narcotics seized from operations across Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Bali, on Monday (15/9/2025) at BNN headquarters in Jakarta.

“BNN has destroyed narcotics evidence that has been cleared by the prosecutor’s office for disposal,” said BNN Chief Commissioner General Suyudi Ario Seto, as quoted by antaranews.com.

The confiscated evidence included 48.7 kilograms of methamphetamine, 387 kilograms of marijuana, 2,086 ecstasy pills, 1.3 kilograms of cocaine, and more than 4.6 kilograms of chemical precursors. Before destruction, small samples were retained for laboratory testing and court proceedings.

Chief Suyudi noted that the seizures stemmed from the crack down of 11 drug syndicates nationwide, leading to 53 arrests and the closure of an illicit laboratory.
