inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Head of the Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM), Taruna Ikrar, conducted a direct inspection to the Indonesian National Police (INP) Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) in Cipinang, East Jakarta.
The inspection was conducted to ensure that the distributed Free Nutritious Food (MBG) met safety standards.
"Of course, we report what we find objectively. We start with the raw materials, where they come from, and then we check where they are stored," he said, Wednesday (1/21/2026).
He explained that the inspection revealed that the INP SPPG conducted a final screening test before distribution. This included checking for chemicals, arsenic, formalin, and other substances.
"The conclusion after visiting this SPPG is that we are grateful as they processed the food according to procedure," said the BPOM Head.
Based on all the inspections conducted, the BPOM Head said, the INP SPPG deserves an A-plus grade. The standards set by the government have all been met by the INP SPPG.
