Inp.polri.go.id - Medan. the North Sumatra Regional Police’s Mobile Brigade Corps (Brimob) distributed school supplies to an elementary school in Central Tapanuli, North Sumatra, on Friday (9/1/2026to help restore learning activities after recent floods and landslides.
Battalion A Pelopor from the North Sumatra Police Brimob, delivered books, pens, and pencils to SD Negeri 156302 Rampa elementary school in Sitahuis Sub-district. The assistance targeted students affected by the disaster, aiming to ensure education continues despite damaged facilities.
“This support is meant to help students stay motivated and return to learning, even after going through a difficult situation,” said Battalion Commander Senior Inspector. Mukhtar I Kadoli, as cited by antaranews.com
He explained that education recovery is a priority because schools represent children’s hopes and future. Alongside distributing supplies, Brimob personnel also helped clean mud and debris from nearby schools to make classrooms safe again.
Chief Mukhtar said the initiative reflects their commitment to humanitarian assistance and post-disaster recovery, especially in the education sector, so teaching and learning can resume as soon as possible.
