inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. BRIN Political Researcher, Wasisto Raharjo Jati, revealed that the government transition process from President Joko Widodo to President-elect Prabowo Subianto was considered to have gone well. He said, this is a good tradition in the democratic process in Indonesia.

According to him, President Jokowi's government does not want to leave any problems, especially those that have legal implications in the future. "I think this is a good transition," he said.

Furthermore, he saw several program foundations that could be continued by the next government. One of them is the development of the Nusantara Capital City (IKN).

"Because this project is indeed a multi-year program which will be going on for years to come," he explained.

President-elect Prabowo was previously optimistic that the IKN would be able to properly function within the next three years at the earliest. 

"We are aware that building the capital city is not a short job, it is a tough and long-term project. But I believe that in 3, 4, 5 years, the city can properly run," said Prabowo.

Prabowo is determined to continue all stages of the IKN's development. "I have said many times that I am determined to continue, if possible to complete," said Prabowo.
