Inp.polri.go.id - Banjarbaru. The state-owned food company Bulog must distribute 1.1 million tons of Stabilization of Food Supply and Prices (SPHP) rice by December 2025 to meet this year’s national target, according to the National Food Agency (Bapanas).
“This year’s target is 1.5 million tons. From January to March, 318,000 tons were distributed before being halted during the harvest season, and resumed in June,” said Bapanas Food Availability Director Indra Wijayanto on Thursday (25/9/2025), as reported by antaranews.com.
He added that Bulog had worked hard to accelerate distribution, noting that in South Kalimantan alone around 7,000–10,000 tons had been delivered from the regional target of 25,000 tons.
Bulog has seven distribution channels, including traditional markets, modern retail, cheap-food fairs, and cooperatives. SPHP rice is sold below market prices with a retail ceiling of Rp 12,500 to Rp 13,500 per kilogram depending on the zone.
Bulog’s stock currently stands at 3.2 million tons, which the company says is safe through the end of the year.
