Students must be wise in using technology and social media in this era of global transparency, and understand the benefits and disadvantages of social media," explained Ipda Lindriyani Hamzah. She said technological developments and the use of social media tend to reduce social interaction significantly. The students are also expected to understand that success cannot be achieved instantly. "To avoid any kinds of scam in social media, we should always stay vigilant and remember that anyone can be whatever they want in the internet. Never open links or attachments from anyone you don't know, and don't send privately stored pictures of yourself to anyone no matter who they are, "said the First Officer of the Gorontalo Regional Police. In that program, the policewomen who goes to school advised the student to report immediately if they fell into online scam or abuse. They also advised the students to share their private parts to the internets or share their location. "We urge you to be careful in using social media because there is already an ITE Law (Electronic Technology Information) which regulates sanctions against social media violators," she told the students in her conclusion.
