Central Jakarta Police Implores Public to Avoid West Medan Merdeka as Constitutional Court Announce Election Law of Minimum Age Limit Central Jakarta Sub-regional Police implores the public to avoid West Medan Merdeka street ahead the reading of the decision regarding the minimum age limit for presidential candidates and vice president at the Constitutional Court (MK). “We implore the public to avoid West Medan Merdeka Street area and find another route,” says Central Jakarta Sub-regional Police Chief, Grand Commissioner Susatyo Purnomo Condro on Monday (10/16/2023). Susatyo says that his party closed the road situationally, depends on situation at the field. Currently, police closed the road in effort to maintain security and order of the decision reading of Election Law. Metro Jaya Regional Police and Central Jakarta Sub-regional Police have deployed at least 1,992 joint personnel consisted of police, Indonesian Military Force, and Jakarta Province Regional Government.
