inp.polri.go.id – Semarang. Central Java Regional Police sends additional personnel to the Semeru Mountain eruption disaster location to help the affected victims, including sending trauma healing personnel and toys for children at the refuge centres.
Chief of Central Java Regional Police, Police Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi, explained that Central Java Regional Police sends 85 Police personnel from many units, including policewomen, to help affected victims of the Semeru eruption. He said that after departing the personnel at the Regional Police Headquarter on Monday (13/12).
Chief of Central Java Regional Police explained that there are also trauma healing personnel for the victims affected by Semeru eruption, either for adults or kids victims at the refuge centres.
According to the Chief of Regional Police, besides personnel deployment to Semeru mountain eruption refuge centres, he also sends toys for kids affected by Semeru eruption at the refuge centres.
"We will strengthen the Central Java Regional Police personnel there with additional platoon squad for trauma healing and medicine. Therefore, we also send medicines and toys for affected people such as kids and elders. Inside the Mobile Brigade, there are also task forces from the Mobile Brigade of Central Java Regional Police who will conduct humanitarian acts there", the two-star general said.
Chief of Regional Police added that the personnel deployment to Lumajang is the part of Aman Nusa 2 Operation of Central Java Regional Police in the context of mitigating disaster.
