Inp.polri.go.id - Palangkaraya. Inspector General Djoko Poerwanto, the Central Kalimantan Regional Police Chief advised members of the public to thoroughly inspect their vehicles before embarking on holiday travels back to their hometowns.
He said that the vehicles inspection a preventive measure to avoid potential accidents during the journey. Inspections should cover the engine, tires, brakes, lights, and ensure all vehicle documents are complete, he added.
"We urge everyone to ensure their vehicles are in good condition before heading home. This isn't just for their safety but also for others on the road," emphasized Chief Poerwanto, who was accompanied by along with Senior Superintendent R S Handoyo,the Director of Traffic of the Central Kalimantan Police,
Local residents were reminded to adhere to traffic regulations to prevent accidents.
The Traffic Directorate of the Central Kalimantan Police will assist in regulating traffic flow to ensure safe and comfortable travel for residents, Chief Handoyo said.
