inp.polri.go.id - In commemoration of the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, Central Kalimantan Police Chief, Inspector General Nanang Avianto, led an honorary ceremony at the Sanaman Lampang Heroes Cemetery, Palangka Raya City, Wednesday (17/8/22) at 00.00 WIB.
The ceremony was attended by the Governor of Central Kalimantan Sugianto Sabran, Commander of Military District Command 102/Panju Panjung, Brigadier General Yudianto Putrajaya, Chairman of Regional House of Representatives, Wiyatno, Head of Regional BIN Brigadier General Sinyo, followed by TNI-Polri personnel.
The Head of Public Relations of Central Kalimantan Police, Commissioner K. Eko Saputro, said that the Honorary Ceremony is an annual routine activity held before August 17 as a form of appreciation to the Heroes who have died in defending the homeland in their struggle to achieve the independence of Indonesian.
"In addition to giving our honor to our national heroes, these activities hopefully can instill a spirit of nationalism in us, so that in the future we can make Indonesia a better nation," explained the Head of Public Relations.
The Head of Public Relations further added that the activity took place solemnly and went smoothly.
