inp.polri.go.id - Palangkaraya. The Central Kalimantan Regional Police deployed 738 personnel to secure the Central Kalimantan General Election Commission (KPU) Office on Thursday (8/29/2024).

“The 738 personnel have been deployed to oversee the last day of the election candidate registration,” says the Head of Central Kalimantan Regional Police Public Relations Division, Senior Superintendent Erlan Munaji.

Erlan adds that the security has been meticulously planned according to the determined procedure.

“We guarantee that all election processes in Central Kalimantan will go smoothly and securely without any meaningful disturbances,” adds Erlan.

KPU has determined that the registration process for the Regional Head Election candidate will be closed on Thursday 9th August, 2024.

“Therefore, we will optimize our security effort for the activity with the hope that we can help realize a safe and conducive election,” concludes Erlan.
