inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Police have rallied security personnel for the Mass Gathering with Pope Gathering in Gelora Bung Karno (GBK). Following the rally at the location, personnel immediately sterilized the area.

“Following the rally at 08.00, we immediately sterilized the area this morning,” says the Head of Central Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police Public Relations Division, Second Police Inspector Ruslan on Thursday (9/5/2024).

He explains that only guests registered for the mass can enter the GBK area.

“Other than the officials and registered guests, no one can enter the area. Vehicles are also parked outside,” adds Ruslan.

On the other hand, traffic engineering will only be applied according to the situation at the field, although the public are still advised to continue refreshing the information related to alternative roads to avoid congestion.
