This appeal was conveyed as Indonesia will face Australia in the 2026 World Cup Asian Qualifier match at 19.00 local time.

“People are advised to avoid GBK at around 15.00 pm to 21.00 pm to avoid congestions,” says the Head of Metro Jaya Regional Police Public Relations, Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam on Tuesday (9/10/2024).

He also implores the public who will watch the match to instead use public transportation to prevent traffic jams in the city.

“We appeal to the supporters of the Indonesian National Team who will watch the match to not use private vehicles, considering that parking lots in the GBK area are very, very limited," he said.
