inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) reminds the officials who joined in the Integrated Law Enforcement Center (Gakkumdu) to anticipate the false document potentials from the election candidates during the registration process.

Member of Bawaslu, Puadi says that from the evaluation of the previous elections, this false document attempt from the candidate may appear.

“And this must be anticipated by our officials, and also the police and prosecutors joined in Gakkumdu,” says Puadi on Thursday (8/29/2024).

He explains the presence of Gakkumdu is to synchronize the law enforcement process with the procedure mechanism that they have agreed upon.

“With that, law enforcement on the election violation and those with the criminal potentials can be going effectively,” said Puadi.

According to him, Bawaslu will also relay the information to all institutions in Gakkumdu about election violation cases that had happened before. Besides enforcing the law, Gakkumdu also must act in preventing the violation.
