Chief of Bangka Belitung (Babel) Regional Police were accompanied by Medical and Health Division, Police Grand Commissioner Zulkarnain, Head of Public Affairs, Police Grand Commissioner Maladi, Director of Community Guidance and Development, Police Grand Commissioner Agus and Deputy Director of Intelligence and Security, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Aris Sulistyono.
The group was welcomed by the Head of Hidayatussalikin Islamic Boarding School, KH Jafar Sidiq along with number of other administrators.
The two-star general said currently his party is not only opening vaccine outlets at Public Health Service, Bhayangkara Hospital and Resort Police but also using the pick-up the ball method at offline locations.
"This is one of the ways we pick up the ball at locations where there are offline activities so that they have immunity so that we can accompany this offline education method with vaccination, so everything can go hand in hand," Chief of Bangka Belitung Regional Police explained, Thursday (07/22/2021).
Not only Islamic boarding schools but the Bangka Belitung Islands Police Vaccination Outlet program will also be focused on a number of locations and crowd centres, ranging from markets to places of worship.
"Later we will also direct them to crowded places. For example, before Friday prayers we will open at which mosques, on Sundays, for example, which church should we go to, later if we need to open outlets near the market, because people working at the market is difficult to access vaccinated, so it is necessary for us to pick up the ball, this is one of our programs," Chief of Bangka Belitung Regional Police explained.
"We hope this government program, vaccination, can be completed by the end of this year, even if only once first," Chief of Bangka Belitung Regional Police explained.
