inp.polri.go.id - South Tapanuli. Personnel from Battalion C of the North Sumatra Regional Police Mobile Brigade Unit continued their activity in cleaning people’s homes and worship places in Aek Ngadol Village, Batang Toru District, South Tapanuli Regency, on Wednesday (1/28/2026).
This activity focused on cleaning four homes and reconstructing Taqwa Muhammadiyah Garoga Mosque, which were affected by the landslide. Since morning, personnel and locals have been working together to clean the area.
In reconstructing the mosque, police renovated the well and cleaned the interior of the Taqwa Muhammadiyah Garoga Mosque, which serves as a center for worship and social activities in the surrounding community.
This activity was led by the Commander of Assignment 1 of Battalion C, Police Senior Inspector Januar Fazhari, and involved several teams. Various tools, such as hoes, shovels, water pumps, chainsaws, and even wheelbarrows, were used to expedite the clearing and leveling process.
Januar stated that the presence of his party in the community is a form of responsibility and dedication, particularly in helping residents recover from the incident.
"We are not only present to provide security, but also strive to be part of the solution to the community's difficulties. What we are doing today is a demonstration of our concern and commitment to continue supporting residents until conditions are fully restored," said Januar.
