JAKARTA TODAY - Indonesian National Police Chief General Idham Azis stated that transnational crimes are comprehensive crimes that require appropriate, fast, and synergistic handling.
So that it requires optimal efforts and active involvement, as well as good coordination of all Ministries and Institutions as well as law enforcement officials.
"I hope that the Indonesian Interpol Coordination Team will become a coordinative forum carried out in the framework of working together to understand the actual development of transnational crime, as well as establish various joint efforts in prevention and overcoming them," said Idham on the sidelines of the inauguration of the Indonesian Interpol Coordination Team. 2020 in Jakarta, Friday (04/12).
It was said, there were several things that this team had to pay attention to, such as the need to increase active participation and quick response from members of the Indonesian Interpol Coordination Team in order to support Interpol's tasks.
Especially in the effort to prevent and eradicate transnational crime, increase awareness of various forms of transnational crime threats that will arise, continue to innovate, improve and evaluate so as to create an adaptive, modern and flexible work system, build good communication and coordination with all parties so as to create a win-win solution principle and maintain strong cohesiveness and synergy with stakeholders in realizing good collaboration in the field of transnational crime prevention.
"This is not about who is great, but about togetherness that cannot be judged by anything," said the former head of the Criminal Investigation Agency.
Idham also expressed his high appreciation and appreciation to all representatives of Ministries and Institutions who have the same perception and concern in the eradication of transnational crime.
