Chief of South Sulawesi Regional Police, Police Inspector General Merdisyam directly inspected one of the Drive Thru vaccination locations at Presisi Booth of Makassar Port Resort Police, Monday (07/12/2021). Chief of South Sulawesi Regional Police said the Drive Thru vaccination was innovation breakthrough to help government in handling Covid-19. People can come by vehicle, immediately get vaccinated and health check, provided with place to rest and after that they can continue their journey. "This Drive Thru is an innovation that we will continue to implement and get positive response from community, and we will implement it in other places," Chief of South Sulawesi Regional Police said. On that occasion, Chief of South Sulawesi Regional Police also invited media to join in encouraging public to be vaccinated. "Besides that, I hope media must also suppress the hoax news related to this vaccination, which sometimes confuses public to participate in vaccinated or not," Chief of South Sulawesi Regional Police explained. Meanwhile, Head of Public Affairs of South Sulawesi Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner  E Zulpan, who accompanied Chief of South Sulawesi Regional Police, said Makassar Port Resort Police has prepared drive-thru service for free vaccines to accelerate Covid-19 vaccination. "We see the public's interest is quite high, in the drive-thru vaccination which takes place at Presisi Vaccine Outlet of Makassar Port Resort Police Headquarter. This vaccination is for drivers who have been declared healthy through health screening process," Head of Public Affairs of South Sulawesi Regional Police said.
