"On this occasion, I, Chief of South Sumatra Regional Police, Police Inspector General Toni Harmanto, and all stakeholders, gave highest respect and appreciation for its best dedication in vaccination acceleration", Chief of South Sumatra Regional Police said in Rekonfu room of 3rd Floor of Promoter Building of South Sumatra Regional Police on Friday (26/11/21). As information, Indonesian President Joko Widodo instructed Armed Forces-Police and all related stakeholders to formulate a strategy on massive Covid-19 vaccination acceleration and South Sumatra Regional Police, with its mass vaccination programme, got support from the community of the Police partners. Chief of South Sumatra Regional Police also appreciated everyone who has spared their efforts in making the mass vaccination programme in South Sumatra a success. "I am grateful and thanks to God because many people and their elements are willing to join us. Only in a short time, God willing, South Sumatra would be free from Covid-19", Chief of South Sumatra Regional Police said. The event was continued to the award certificate and placard handover to the Police partners such as President Director of Pusri Ltd, Tri Wahyudi Saleh; Rector of Sriwijaya University, Prof Anissagaf; Head of Buddha Tzu Chi Foundation of Palembang, Candra Antonio; Head of Anxi Association of Palembang, Sukarta; President Director of Palembang Indah Mall, Non Kwee; and Manager of City Mall Prabumulih, Yudi Mariandi. "Without the support from the Police partners, the vaccination acceleration would not be optimal to form herd immunity to support mass vaccination in South Sumatra. Thank you for the collaboration", he concluded.
