Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. State low-cost carrier Citilink has officially opened a new international route connecting Jakarta and Bangkok, strengthening regional air connectivity between Indonesia and Thailand.

The service operates from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, to Don Mueang International Airport, Bangkok, and commenced on Friday, antaranews.com reported on Saturday (13/12/2025)

Citilink President Director Darsito Hendroseputro said in a statement that the new route responds to rising travel demand between the two countries and supports the airline’s strategy to expand its international network.

Bangkok, he noted, is one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic cities, offering strong potential for tourism, business, and cultural exchange.

The Jakarta–Bangkok flight operates daily using Airbus A320 aircraft. Flight QG 512 departs Jakarta at 12.30 pm local time and arrives in Bangkok at 4.10 pm, while the return flight QG 513 leaves Bangkok at 5.10 pm and lands in Jakarta at 8.30 pm

The route launch coincides with Citilink’s preparations for the year-end peak season, during which the airline is adding nearly 100,000 extra seats. Citilink also highlighted its strong operational performance, ranking second in Southeast Asia for on-time arrivals in November 2025.
