inp.polri.go.id - The Head of Papua Regional Police Public Relations, Senior Superintendent Ignatius Benny Adi Prabowo informs the condition of the three victims of Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Dekai have improved. “According to the report we received, the three victims, including two military personnel, have recovered after being treated at Dekai Hospital,” said the PR Chief quoted from Antara on Tuesday (2/6/2024). He explains that the three victims are Chief Soldier Septiono Lawe, First Sergeant Ronaldo Abi, and a civilian named Dominius Nana. They were shot following a gunfight incident on Monday (2/5/2024) night at 20.45 am around Siep Asso street, Dekai District, Papua Mountains. “The incident began when Dominius and Ronaldo was grilling a chicken in one of their colleague house in Siep Asso street. Suddenly, the two KKB members ambushed them and shot Dominius and Ronaldo from 20 meters away,” said Benny. Moreover, Benny reveals that security official still have not yet discover from which KKB group launched the ambush as the investigation is on-going. (ad/ay/hn/nm)
