Criminal Investigation Agency of Indonesian National Police Hunts Two People Search Lists and Locations for Cannabis Fields on the Aceh-Jakarta Network

inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Criminal Investigation Agency of the Indonesian National Police has named four suspects in the case of narcotics trafficking in the Aceh-Medan-Jakarta network. Currently, Criminal Investigation Agency is hunting for 2 People Search Lists (wanted lists) in this case, which is suspected to be in Aceh.

Director Deputy of Drug Crime, Police Grand Commissioner Jayadi explained that the two People Search List status people being hunted were acting as couriers and marijuana providers, respectively. "Still looking for, already has People Search List status, one is a courier, and the other is a provider," he explained Friday (11/26/21).

In addition to hunting down the two People Search Lists, his party is currently investigating the location of the marijuana fields of the network. "We will develop it, and there is a possibility that the party is the supplier so that we can find out where the field is. Including who the intermediary is, we will reveal all of that," explained Director Deputy of Drug Crime.

As is known, the Directorate of Drug Crimes of the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Indonesian National Police has succeeded in dismantling the distribution of marijuana-type drugs in the Aceh-Medan-Jakarta network with evidence weighing 224.4 kg.

In this case, Criminal Investigation Agency named four suspects. The four suspects with the initials SP (24), RN (21), and LH (21) who acted as couriers were arrested in Palembang, South Sumatra. Meanwhile, another person with the initials SD (41) acting as a controller was arrested in Medan, North Sumatra.

The four were charged with Article 114 paragraph 2 and Article 132 of Law Number 35 of 2009 and Article 111 paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 132 of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics, with the threat of capital punishment or life imprisonment.
