inp.polri.go.id - Nabire. Personnel from the 2026 Damai Cartenz Operation prioritized dialogue patrols and health services while visiting communities in Sinak District, Puncak Regency, Central Papua.

During patrols conducted since Tuesday (7/21/2026), personnel followed several connecting routes between villages, crossed suspension bridges, visited hilly areas, and visited locations serving as primary access points for the community.

During these patrols, personnel engaged in dialogue with the people to assess the security situation in the area and urged them to remain vigilant and immediately report any potential disturbances to public order and security.

People also received health checks and health education as part of the services provided by the 2026 Damai Cartenz Operation personnel to the community.

In a written statement received in Nabire on Thursday (7/23/2026), Inspector General Faizal Ramadhani, Head of the 2026 Damai Cartenz Operation, stated that the patrols not only aimed to monitor the security situation but also to build communication and provide direct services to the community.

"The patrols are not only aimed at maintaining regional security, but also ensuring that the community feels protected and has a space to express the various conditions they face," Faizal said.

He explained that personnel engaged in dialogue with residents at several points during the patrols, while also providing health checks and simple education on the importance of maintaining good health.

Direct communication with the community is crucial for building trust and early detection of potential security disturbances in the region.
