Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Officers from the Damai Cartenz Task Force Sector Puncak Jaya conducted foot patrols from the Kulirik Post to the GIDI Dondobaga Church in Muara District, Papua Mountains, on Sunday (13/9/2026). 

During the patrol, officers greeted local residents and distributed snacks to children attending Sunday School at the church grounds before continuing their security route.

"Patrols are not only about maintaining security, but also about personnel being present, greeting, and listening to the community," said Head of Damai Cartenz Task Force Inspector General Faizal Ramadhani.

Deputy Head of Damai Cartenz Task Force Senior Superintendent Adarma Sinaga added that such interactions build community trust and safety.

Chairman of the GIDI Dondobaga Church Council, Kirenius Telenggeng, appreciated the police visit and support. Authorities confirmed that the security situation in Muara District remains safe and conducive.
