Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) has warned residents along the Ciliwung River to be cautious as the Depok Monitoring Post reached Alert Level 1 (Danger Status) at 12.40 am on Tuesday (4/3/2025) with a water level of 350 cm amid heavy rainfall.
BPBD Jakarta, through its official X account (@BPBDJakarta), urged affected communities to remain alert for potential flash floods. Areas at risk include Srengseng Sawah, Lenteng Agung, Tanjung Barat, Pejaten Timur, Rawajati, Cikoko, Bukit Duri, Manggarai, Kampung Melayu, and surrounding neighborhoods.
As many as 1,229 residents in South and East Jakarta have been evacuated to 11 designated shelters across four urban villages due to the flooding on Sunday, according to antaranews.com.
BPBD Jakarta continues to monitor the situation and advises residents to stay updated on official announcements while taking necessary precautions against flooding.
