Drug trafficking is very troubling to the general public because the impacts are real. Such example is harming the person and the environment around them, which are indirectly affected. Seeing this potential threat, the Ditpolairud Polda Kalteng directly carried out preemptive actions by warned the fishermen, most of whom consist of young people. The Head of Unit Pendulangan Headquarters Bripka Takdir A said, “We are trying our best to fight against drugs, especially in water areas with preemptive and repressive actions. Drugs are our common enemy, so it needs cooperation from various elements, plus the support of the active role of the community, to eradicate drugs and gives no gaps for their operation. "We tried to make the fishermen understand about the impacts and effects that will arise when someone uses drugs. This appeal hopefully will help the community in general and fishermen in particular understand, and stay away from drugs," he explained.
